This notice is provided under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. It applies to visitors and professional contacts using the TSD Defne website, B2B enquiry form, email, telephone and WhatsApp link.

2. Collection channels and scope
Personal data is collected directly from you through the website form, email, telephone or WhatsApp communication, and automatically through essential server logs, cookies and browser storage. The website is intended for corporate procurement contacts. Please do not submit special-category personal data or information unrelated to a B2B request.

The required acknowledgement below the enquiry form confirms that this notice was presented. It is not consent to marketing. If commercial electronic messages are introduced later, any consent required for those messages will be obtained separately.
4. Recipients and transfer purposes
Data may be disclosed, only to the extent necessary for the stated purposes, to hosting, information-security, maintenance and email service providers acting for TSD Defne; authorised advisers; laboratories, logistics or customs partners involved in a request; and courts or public authorities where legally required. Personal data is not sold.
5. Transfers abroad
The website form does not send form data to WhatsApp. When you independently choose an external platform or link, that provider’s own terms apply. If TSD Defne later uses a service requiring an overseas transfer, the transfer will take place only after a mechanism permitted by Article 9 KVKK has been established and this notice has been updated where required.
6. Retention
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant enquiry and subsequent commercial relationship, and for applicable statutory retention or limitation periods. Data whose purpose and legal retention basis have ended is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the applicable retention process. Browser preferences remain on your device until you change them or clear browser storage.
7. Data security
TSD Defne applies proportionate access controls, logging, backup, confidentiality and supplier controls intended to prevent unlawful access, disclosure, loss or alteration. No internet transmission can be guaranteed absolutely secure; suspected incidents are assessed and handled under applicable law.
8. Your rights under Article 11 KVKK
You may ask whether your data is processed; request information; learn the purposes and whether data is used accordingly; learn recipients in Türkiye or abroad; request correction; request deletion or destruction where conditions are met; request notification of correction or deletion to recipients; object to a result produced exclusively by automated analysis; and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
9. How to apply
Send a signed written application to the address above, or send an application from an email address previously notified to and registered in TSD Defne’s systems to [email protected]. Applications should identify the applicant, state the right being exercised and provide sufficient information to verify and answer the request. Other methods permitted by the relevant Communiqué may also be used when available. Applications are answered as soon as possible and no later than thirty days; a fee may be charged only where permitted by the Personal Data Protection Board’s tariff.
10. Updates
This notice may be updated when processing activities, service providers or law change. The current version and update date are published on this page. In case of inconsistency between translations, the Turkish text prevails to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
